Q8. The hours each day looks long. What can I expect the schedule to be like?

To begin each YTT day, we meet practice and experientially learn core studies of advanced training. This begins with morning meditation and an opening discussion about the days curriculum including the anatomy about the module’s asana groups (i.e. core and spine, or feet, legs, and hips). Following is an intelligently sequenced vinyasa practice created around this central theme of the module. In these practices you will grow your personal practice by working on advanced variations and modifications of asanas and assisting your peers. You’ll learn to work with your body and the asanas in a more skillful way to build a deeper, more rewarding, and more sustainable yoga practice.

The afternoons are dedicated to becoming more insightful as a teacher. We’ll have practice discussions including reflections and in-depth discussions behind the why of the morning practice sequence and what you experienced. Here is where we also work on various aspects of your training from a deeper look into further anatomy, sequencing, breaking down alignment, purposeful and impactful cueing, philosophy of yoga studies and discussions, or the business of teaching yoga for a rewarding career. Following is a light and restoring brief yoga practice to soak in the day so far and refresh your body including guided meditations and pranayama.

The short evenings include continued learning from the afternoon’s topics and application of the day’s work through small group work and experiential reviews.

Q9. Do you help organize accomodations for traveling students?

Students traveling in for the training have had much success with AirBnB for finding short-term housing. In many cases, traveling students have stayed with other fellow teacher trainees for free. If you are interested in this, please contact us once you register.

Q10. I am interested in the payment plan. How does that work?

We will then contact you to complete your tuition with a full payment or your first payment of a $500 deposit. Your first payment is due within one week of regisration. For the 300-hour tuition, we offer payment plans up to 6 months long. For the individual modules, we offer a 2 month payment plan.
