Test* Yoga Foundations Workshop

WORKSHOP DETAILS

Join us in a safe, non-intimidating space to learn the foundations of Yoga. Together we will break down some of the most common asanas (postures/poses). We will touch on the history of Yoga and how we can apply yoga’s principles to our daily lives.

This workshop style class will cover:

  • Proper alignment/engagement for a safe yoga practice.

  • Modifications/variations to tailor the practice to your needs/ability

  • Breathwork (Pranayama): How to use your breath in your practice

  • A brief overview of the History of Yoga

We will close the workshop by putting our new knowledge into practice with a short Vinyasa Yoga class.

This series is for anyone who is curious about Yoga and while perfect for beginners, it will deeply benefit all levels of practitioners.
